Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the website or engaging the services of Jack of All Trades Handyman Services ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website at jackofalltradeshandymanservices.net or by contacting us to request services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our website or services.

2. Description of Services

Jack of All Trades Handyman Services provides general handyman and home improvement services throughout the state of Kentucky, including but not limited to: deck and porch construction, bathroom renovations, siding installation and repair, window and door installation, drywall work, electrical repairs, plumbing repairs, and general home maintenance and repairs.

The scope of any specific project will be agreed upon in writing or verbally at the time of scheduling. We reserve the right to decline any project that is outside our area of expertise or that we deem unsafe or impractical.

3. Estimates and Pricing

We provide free estimates prior to commencing any work. All estimates are provided in good faith based on the information available at the time. Final pricing may be adjusted if:

  • The scope of work changes from what was originally described or discovered.
  • Unforeseen conditions are encountered (e.g., hidden damage, code compliance issues).
  • Material costs fluctuate significantly from the time of estimate to the time of purchase.

We will communicate any significant changes to the estimate before proceeding with additional work. You will not be charged for work you have not authorized.

4. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of services unless a different arrangement has been agreed upon in advance. For larger projects, a deposit may be required before work begins, with the balance due upon satisfactory completion. We accept cash, check, and other payment methods as agreed. Invoices unpaid after 30 days may be subject to a late fee.

5. Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please provide at least 24 hours' notice. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may result in a service call fee. For projects where materials have already been purchased on your behalf, you may be responsible for the cost of those materials.

6. Customer Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about the project scope and site conditions.
  • Ensure safe access to the work area.
  • Secure any pets or valuables before our team arrives.
  • Disclose any known hazards such as asbestos, lead paint, or structural instability.

7. Warranties and Workmanship

We take pride in our work and stand behind the quality of our services. If you are not satisfied with any aspect of our work, please contact us within 30 days of completion so we can address the issue. We do not provide warranties on materials supplied by the customer or on pre-existing conditions beyond our control.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Jack of All Trades Handyman Services shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with our services or this agreement. Our total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

We carry appropriate insurance for our work. However, we are not responsible for pre-existing conditions, damage caused by concealed defects not discoverable through reasonable inspection, or circumstances beyond our control.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be resolved in the courts of Kentucky.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
